DUANESBURG DUALS

The team finished off a very busy week by going 2 - 2 at the Duanesburg Duals. Despite
missing two days of practice due to inclement weather, the varsity
wrestlers split their 4 matches with wins over Section III's Canastota
and the defending Class D Champions, Duanesburg. The Dutchmen
saw additional out-of-section competition against Section III's
Holland-Patent and eventual team champions, Fairport (Section V).
Seniors Matt Hart and Matt Cubillos went 4 - 0 on the day, as did
Junior Travis Wolanski and Sophomore Kevin Bates. Wolanski
picked up his first Dutchmen Award of the season by going 4 - 0 with
3 falls and a major decision. Congratulations, Travis.
