section for news and info regarding camps, clinics and summer
events. Your continued participation is what makes this
program a success!
The summer schedule will begin with the JUNE 17 parent meeting for
the
BROCKPORT TEAM CAMP.
If your child is planning on going, you must attend this meeting.
CAMERA-PERSON WANTED!
may 27 - We
are currently looking to secure photographers for the upcoming
2009 - 2010 season. One Varsity and One JV parent to document
all home and away events. If you are interested, please
contact the coaching staff.
NCAA
Bound
may 2 - All Five Guilderland
seniors have made their collegiate decisions for 2010. Devan
Van Auken will be turning in his red-and-whites for the
green-and-gold of
SUNY Oswego. Van Auken will
wrestle for head coach
Mike
Howard and is likely to make a drop to 197 lbs for the Lakers.
Brendan Ruddy will be joining 2X NCAA All-American and 2X National
Champion Van Fronhofer (head coach) at Hudson Valley Community
College. HVCC is currently a club team, but is looking to
possibly make the jump to the Junior College competitive ranks in
the near future.
Greg Reinhart has decided to attend SUNY Morrisville, and is
currently considering competing for the Mustangs.

april 27 - Seniors Matt Hart and
Matt Cubillos have finalized their plans for the fall, and both will
be competing in the NCAA. Hart was recently accepted into the
creative writing program at
Roger Williams University in
Bristol, Rhode Island. He will compete for a spot at 133 lbs
for the Hawks, under
head coach David Kemmy.

On Wednesday, April 29, Cubillos will sign his national letter of
intent to attend the
University of Virginia. He
will also be competing for a starting job at 133 lbs, and will
wrestle for the Cavaliers under
head coach and NCAA finalist, Steve Garland.
